This is one of those images... I had it on my computer as a 'Desktop Image" and everytime I turned on my monitor, I could see this rose appearing like a sun. I should figure out a way to make these available as Desktop Images; but in the meantime, you can turn off your monitor right now, and then turn it back on to see the effect for yourself. NOTE: this will only work on a CRT, not on a LCD screen... sorry!
One flower on a stalk which by nature has a dozen. Well, if he wants a solo, he gets one! This is probably the truest to the color of blue I see with my eyes for this variety, it's so deep that it usually overwhelms the cameras ability to record it.
It's a shame these only grow in mostly wet, shady areas... on the other hand it means that the backdrop will almost always be this luminous green color!
