I don't really know what it is about roses... I try to photograph them well, and I've taken hundreds of photos... but they always seem to be so eager to be photographed that they seem to 'leap' out into the photograph and end up oversaturated or something. The buds are probably the most appealing, but this guy in full bloom would not be denied!
